Gaining the trust of teens is the primary challenge in facilitating 6Teens groups. Many teens believe adults will only talk to, not listen to teens.

I attempt to address this challenge by communicating to them the essence of The 6Teens Project. For many of the students, it will take over half of our time together for them to believe what I say in this clip.
